Description:
In the seventies Tri Atma was one of those first German groups to go on the musical journey between east and west. Since then the Hippie gear has been put aside and the group has been reduced to a duo. Sitar and flutes have been exchanged for keyboards and music computers and only the tablas and guitars remain. The change has been for the better: from incense-stick tones to an updated, dynamic and melodious sound, which earns itself the title World Music. The only survivors of the original cast are Jens Fischer and Asim Saha. They bring their music together by mixing all that is musically happening between New York, Kingston and Bangkok without getting themselves bogged down in overloaded eclecticism. The strained effort of some World Music performers doesn't come into question here. The music flies light and easy as it comes together for just the right sound. A light, soft massage for listening, always original and never boring.
