Les Nubians Presents Echos Chapter One: Nubian Voyager is a breakthrough album whose musical and poetic fusion (in both French and English) expresses love, the city, death, and life. An artistic departure from earlier Les Nubians projects, this album, four years in the making, combines several new and remixed Les Nubians songs (including the focus track 'Rendez-vous' with John Banzai) and a stable of exciting new poets (the Echos) whose work is underscored and saturated with distinctive Les Nubians-produced Afropean rhythms.
Biography:
An established tastemaker duo, the French Les Nubians have SoundScanned over 600,000 units on their previous two albums (in the US) and over 50,000 units in their home country of France. Their debut album was Princesses Nubians and its follow up One Step Forward and both were released through Virgin.
