Composer Chuck Wild is a passionate advocate of using ultra-slow music in healing settings. In November 2005, Chuck presented at the American Music Therapy Conference regarding the use of slow music in treating anxiety. His experience as a songwriter, composer, sound designer, and synthesist spans three decades, including writing over 125 songs and compositions for dozens of television shows, several films, and many albums for other artists.
Biography:
Liquid Mind is the name used by Los Angeles based composer and producer Chuck Wild. Wild has written over 100 songs and compositions, more than 80 of which have now been recorded for albums or for use in television and film. Early live and studio experience with the Capitol Records' group Missing Persons, and studio work with Frank Zappa, Michael Jackson and many others have helped Wild to develop high production values. While a staff songwriter at Lorimar Telepictures, and then Warner/Chappell Music, he co-composed music with Michael Hoenig for the emmy-winning ABC series Max Headroom. Wild also co-scored the Academy Award winning film 'The Panama Deception' and has lent his sonic programming and studio talents on the synthesizer to projects with Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Missing Persons, Philip Bailey, Frank Zappa, and many others.
