Awaken the Wisdom Energies of the Five Dakinis. The Tibetan Buddhist tradition carries exotic tales about fearless female sky dancers or wisdom dakinis who dance in limitless space and act as messengers, guides, and protectors. These enlightened archetypes manifest the feminine wisdom energy that has been stripped from modern religions and cultures - energy that is much needed today. With The Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine, Tsultrim Allione introduces you to the sacred energy of the five dakinis - and teaches you how to bring their strength, power, and transformation into your life. Buddhism and the Return of the Feminine Principle Allione's quest began in the late 1960s when she was looking for a spiritual practice that honored her challenges and concerns as a woman. Her search took her to Nepal where she discovered the hidden wisdom of the five dakinis - wild, impassioned, dancing expressions of feminine energy. At once sexual and spiritual, ecstatic and intelligent, wrathful and peaceful - each of the dakinis possesses the power to transform our unenlightened qualities into wisdom. For example, the Vajra (diamond) dakini transforms anger into the mirror-like wisdom of open emptiness, while the Ratna (jewel) dakini transforms pride into the wisdom of equanimity. Through the five dakinis, the very energies that cause our suffering can - when released - become an unparalleled source of innate wisdom. The Five Dakinis: Embodiment through Meditation The forms, symbols, and accoutrements of each of the five dakinis hold the profound symbolic power of our own fierce feminine potential. Now, through 10 detailed sessions of guided meditations and visualizations, you will learn to embody each of the dakinis to bring peace and illumination to your life and to our world, with The Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine.
