Description:
The new CD with the unpretentious title Music is a continuation of the Moscow Art Trio's aesthetic concept, which provides for equal participation by Arkady Shilkloper, a horn player with a background in classical music, the folk singer and clarinettist Sergey Starostin and Alperin, who refers to himself as “a kind of improvising pianist” - and allowing for the sense of pleasure and humour and the technical brilliance we have come to associate with this group.
Biography:
Moscow Art Trio is Mikhail Alperin on piano, Arkady Shilkloper on French horn together with Sergey Starostin on clarinet and folk reeds. Both Shilkloper and Starostin add vocals.
