This music is prayer of the celebration of the Goddess, in all her glorious forms, and an invocation of the Shekhinah, the formless feminine that inspires the song of Creation. The Shekhinah has many names, aspects of her association with nature and with the qualities of supreme love and compassion. In the Eastern tradition, in the form of Kuan Yin, she is the Goddess who hears the cry of the world and remains here for the sake of all who suffer. She is the Great Mother in her character of the wise and loving Sophia.
