Biography:

Poumi has a singing body and a dancing voice. The daughter of an opera singer, she has traveled throughout Asia, establishing a bridge between two cultures. Her entire life has been dedicated to music, dance and teaching, all of which has been steeped in the breadth and atmosphere of Indian and Tibetan philosophy. POUMI's career has included extensive work as a choreographer in her native city of Paris, France as well as in New York, and throughout India, Africa, and Europe.
