'Producer Tom Wasinger exhibits a keen ear for memorable melodies.' - Aquarius Magazine
A unique new recording of lullabies produced by Tom Wasinger in the style of his best-selling world music lullaby collections, The World Sings Goodnight, Volumes 1 and 2.
This time Tom Wasinger travels the North American continent to focus on the tradition and songs of American Indians. This collection includes both traditional lullabies as well as new, original compositions. These songs carry on the loving, playful and sometimes serious nature found in lullabies, sung with the warmth of genuine human emotion that shines throughout this recording.
The performers are from various Indian Nations all over North America and include Joanne Shenandoah and Robert Mirabal. Many of these talented Native artists share their traditional lullabies which have been passed down through many generations. Others contribute more contemporary arrangements inspired by their Native history and traditions.
Under the Green Corn Moon shares and preserves a part of Native American culture and will prove to be an educational and enjoyable listening experience for both children and adults.
