Biography:
Danny Heines is a guitarist who, in addition to dazzling technique, also possesses the gift of inspired composition. His pieces combine strong melodies with a uniquely powerful rhythmic approach that makes for intensely captivating music.
Danny's live performance is a musical experience to remember, with visually compelling guitar techniques that leave audiences truly amazed. Heines began playing guitar at age 10. He studied with jazz bassist Vishnu Wood and later with guitarist Mick Goodrick. In the early 80's, Heines gained a loyal following in Michigan and did the same in Colorado. He now resides in San Francisco, where he performs, records and teaches.
