Biography:
Egil Fylling is a composer, arranger and synthesizer/keyboard player. He combines symphonic synthesizers with melodic themes, compelling rhythms and dynamic sounds. He also adds nature sounds, vocals and several acoustic instruments (all played by renowned musicians).
His music depicts various aspects of consciousness through quiet and floating/relaxing music like Breath and Anahata as well as more more dynamic ambient music.
Egil Fylling comes from Ålesund on the west coast of Norway, surrounded by deep fjords, high mountains, islands, and the vast ocean. The everchanging nature has been a great source of inspiration to him and this has been expressed through his music. His haunting melodies and arrangements are inspired by his classically oriented musical education, his electronic instruments combined with nature and the mystery of the universe.
