Original Soundtrack Recording to the Giant-screen film WOLVES. Like the film itself, the WOLVES recording has a powerful Native American influence, including the stunning original score by Michel Cusson and songs by Native artists such as Robbie Robertson (with Primeaux and Mike), Joanne Shenandoah, Walela (Rita coolidge, Priscilla Coolidge & Laura Satterfield), and Mary Younghlood.
From the evocative sounds of Cusson's compositions, beginning with the adventurous Sawtooth Mountain and culminating with the mournful Death of a Legend, the emotion and excitement of the Giant-screen experience are brought back to life. Also heard are the soulful voice of Bruce Cockburn, saxophonist Paul Winter accompanied by wolves howling in the wild, and songs that echo that same longing for spiritual connection. The music of WOLVES is an inspiring and educational experience that portrays Native peoples' appreciation for wolves and for the earth.
