Maya Records

Maya Records is a London-based label launched in 2006 by Moshik Kop and Avtar Kaur. Our mission is to share the benefits of mantric music with all communities, to build bridges through sound, and to raise awareness of nad yoga, the yoga of the essence of vibration. Music is a great builder of communities and we intend for Maya Records to become a family that grows together. In yoga, Maya refers to the manifest reality that we live in. Although also called 'the veil of illusion' (the materialdream we must transcend), Maya is the dimension we are born into, the realm of the senses. The senses can take us out (away from the source) or they can take us in (back to the source). By journeying deep into these senses through applied awareness (dharana), we can experience oneness. At Maya Records, our journey is through sound, listening, harmony, and attuning to the one true universal vibration.
